July - Where has the time gone??

Well as usual time is flying by.
Your Creative Wings has been very busy behind the scenes, upgrading the website to make shopping even easier for you, there is some little touches still to be added. There's lots of new product on the store and lots more coming in the next week.

Thrinchie Hinged Frames

Using the beautiful tones of Collections Postale paper range and cream. This may be your introduction to Thrinchies - 3"square chipboard tiles, and Twinchies - 2"square chipboard tiles. Another two new products released by Collections Elements in May. These tiles teamed together with the Inchies - 1"square tiles make up this new kit.
I'm hooked on these little squares and have undertaken a new project, which I hope to share the start of real soon. Maybe this could be the start of a bigger project for you. You get plenty of leftover Thrinchies to start something bigger.

The Pin Cushion Spool Creative Kit was so popular last month, there's a new one this month in the beautiful Shabby Chic tones.

Well I couldn't help myself with this one. A couple of you asked if there would be a pin cushion in a different colour and here you have it. My favourite style at the moment. Distressed Shabby Chic. Love it!!!! You get the full instructions and supplies for the three main spools and the four beautiful decorative pins, so pretty.

Bird PinOnce you've made this little decorative pin you won't be able to stop at one, it will fill your head with lots more ideas for similar pins.

All of the Creative Projects Kits come with everything you need to finish the project, with the exception of some paints, inks and maybe some other mediums, depending on the kit. You do need to supply your own tools and adhesives. Once you’ve purchased your kit you receive step by step instructions with detailed photographs via email.

Long time

Make this useful piece along with a couple of other spool sizes and plenty of spool supplies left over for you to create more of these, addictive but delightful arty objects, the sky's the limit with how to decorate them. I'll share some more of what I've created asap.

Sneak Peeks

Some sneak peeks of the new Collections being released next week. I love these colour tones, just one of the new ones coming.

I'm so excited, SIA, http://sia2010.blogspot.com/ which is a trade event held each year in Sydney is next Tuesday. I hope to see lots of new products to inspire all of us.

I've been very busy creating new kits and some of the inspiration has come from the new line of Collections products http://www.collectionselements.com/store/ to be released at SIA. I've been helping Julie http://nirvanaelements.blogspot.com/the owner of Collections with samples for the show, I've been sharing these on my personal blog Me and Mine http://meandmine-audrey.blogspot.com/ and thought I'd share them here. Hopefully it will give you some inspiration to create.

New Creative Project Kits.
The kits come with everything you need to create the project. You may need some paint, ink or metallic rub ons, depends how the kit is done. You are emailed full instructions with photographs.
It's a little like doing a class at your own pace, in your own place or with friends, but without the tutor, who is only an email away :0)

Play Time

A little Art for Art sake. Using the new Fairies and Birdhouses, put together on an A5 canvas, so all small bits and pieces.
I used Helmar 2 step crackle on the houses with Webster paper underneath.
